How did he start ?
Tony started his life in California as a student body president at his high school. Robbins described his home life as “chaotic” and “abusive” and when he turned seventeen, he left home and never returned.
Robbins never attended college and is what you can call a SELF-MADE-MAN with big ass letters!
He started his career by helping one of his first mentors Jim Rohn by promoting Jim’s motivational seminars, later he met John Grinder one of the creators of NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming), and made a partnership with him.
In 1988 Robbins released his first infomercial, Personal Power, which helped to promote his services as a “peak performance coach”. The infomercial helped Robbins gain wide exposure, selling his Personal Power self-help audiotapes.
was named one of the “Top 200 Business Gurus” by the Harvard Business Press, and in 2007 was ranked on the Forbes Celebrity 100.
Tony Robbins seminars
Robbins holds multiple seminars annually, most of them with a “self-help” and “positive thinking” theme, with a firewalk participation, massages, and physical exercises.
These seminars include “Unleash the Power Within”, “Date with Destiny”, “Life and Wealth Mastery”, “Business Mastery” and “Leadership Academy”. It is a costly affair to attend these seminars and vary from US$ 2,500 (for a 3.5 days “Unleash the power within” program) to US$ 5,000 (for the “Date with Destiny” seminar).
The events are not cheap but sell out every single time. People can’t get enough of his teachings and charisma, they also report afterward that for most of them it has changed their lives forever.

Tony Robbins was pretty much the one guy that changed my whole perspective on life. I have always had a problem with my focus, I know that this is a show stopper for most people in life, the lack of what to focus on and decide what would be the most beneficial for me and my future self. Don’t get me wrong I love life! I wake up every morning with a smile on my face and get excited about work, I want to better myself every day to reach my goals.
Tony was one of the people that helped me turn on that flame! That inner fire that had been dwelling for years, just waiting to get some oxygen and burst out.
I am a fighter and I won’t stop fighting until I live out my dreams.

Tony lives in Manalapan Florida with his wife Sage Robbins. Many know Tony as the Giant, well he is 6.7″ tall and built like a marine. He is 60 years old and uses a lot of his time on charity work around the world.
Tony was diagnosed with acromegaly disease which the doctors told Robbins was responsible for his remarkable growth spurts as a teenager, as well as his large hands and feet.
