When Hal was young he started a career in direct sales and his manager thought him the 5minute rule “It’s okay to get angry but only for 5 minutes” Later in life Hal got into a really serious accident and was told that he would never walk again.
Hal used his 5-minute rule mindset and accepted that he could sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, but it didn’t knock him out, he still had a hope of walking again even though the doctors said he wouldn’t.
3 Weeks after the accident that left him in that wheelchair and doctors said he would be in for the rest of his life.. He took his first step.
Later he actually ran a 52mile Ultramarathon just to prove that he was back for real.
